A post election day message from Tom Herbert.

I want to thank everyone who volunteered, contributed, and otherwise supported me during this campaign. I couldn't have done this without all of you. You had the courage to stand with me. You worked hard during the campaign, (wo)manned the polls on a cold election day worked on phone banks andknocked on doors with me. We can all be proud of our efforts to promote Democracy and electoral choice in Henrico county.

I am deeply honored to have worked with all of you. Without your support, help and encouragment, I couldn't have run. Although we lost, we did very well considering that we were up against an wealthy opponent with unlimited resources. In spite of what we faced, we got well over 4000 votes in an election with only about 26% turnout while fighting an entrenched machine with close to a half a million dollars to throw at the election.
